Article Processing Charge
The Gateway Journal for Modern Studies and Research (GJMSR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Scientific Events Gate – Malaysia.
The journal ensures that all accepted articles are freely and permanently accessible online upon publication.
To sustain this open-access model and maintain high editorial, technical, and production standards, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to accepted manuscripts.
1. APC Rates
Authors based in Malaysia: RM 1,600
Authors based outside Malaysia: USD 400
APC should be paid with a total amount of (USD 400). This amount should be paid in two payments. The first amount (USD 50) is paid after the first check of the article submission. The second amount (USD 350) is paid when the article is preliminary accepted (scientific acceptance).
Selected papers presented at Scientific Events Gate conferences may be published free of charge, subject to editorial approval.
2. What the APC Covers
The APC supports all essential publishing services provided by the GJMSR Editorial Office and Scientific Events Gate – Malaysia, including:

Comprehensive double-blind peer review and editorial assessment.

Professional copyediting, layout design, and formatting.

OJS platform hosting and permanent archiving through LOCKSS/CLOCKSS.

DOI assignment and metadata registration for global discoverability.

Preparation of XML, HTML, and PDF versions for indexing and database integration.

Maintenance of long-term open-access hosting and technical support.
3. Payment Procedures
Once a manuscript is formally accepted, authors will receive detailed payment instructions from the editorial office.

All published articles in GJMSR are licensed under the
Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0),
which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.
